European Investment Bank in Luxembourg headquarters seeks a Head of Lending Technology & Applications Division to lead the evolution of the lending technology landscape and oversee the applications portfolio that supports financing operations. This leadership role requires guiding multidisciplinary teams to deliver secure, scalable digital solutions aligned with strategic objectives.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology or related field.
• Over 10 years of experience leading delivery, operations and evolution of business-critical applications.
• Proven leadership across multiple technology teams in international environments.
• Experience partnering with business stakeholders to shape demand and technology roadmaps.
• Strong technical credibility across enterprise app technologies and architectures including Java/JavaScript and Microsoft tech.

Responsabilidades

• Shape the technology strategy and own the lending application roadmap.
• Provide technical leadership across a varied application landscape (Java/JavaScript, Microsoft, Power Platform, SaaS).
• Lead transformation, modernisation and evolution of the lending application landscape.
• Develop the Division’s management team and empower leaders across multidisciplinary teams.
• Ensure secure, resilient operation of lending applications and production stability.
• Oversee delivery portfolio, budgets and outsourcing with governance compliance.
• Govern technology vendors and partners, ensuring lifecycle ownership and architecture integrity.
