European Investment Bank (EIB) seeks a Transaction Processing Officer for its Luxembourg headquarters. You will contribute to timely processing of lending transactions, ensuring settlements and lifecycle event management while actively reducing risk in a high-volume environment.

The role blends finance operations with data analytics, automation, AI and emerging technologies such as DLT to foster a more automated, resilient back office.

Qualificações

• University degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in financial operations or back/middle office.
• Strong understanding of financial products and loan documentation.
• Analytical mindset with ability to work with datasets.
• Exposure to automation tools, workflow engines or process optimization.
• Experience with AI or data science use cases is advantageous.
• Proficiency in Python/SQL and data visualization (Power BI or similar).
• Project management experience is a plus.
• Excellent English and French proficiency, with good command of the other language.

Responsabilidades

• Execute end-to-end processing of lending portfolio transactions.
• Ensure timely confirmations, settlements and lifecycle event management.
• Perform controls to reduce operational, financial and reputational risk.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of control frameworks, especially in automated environments.
• Analyse operational data to identify inefficiencies and improvement opportunities.
• Develop dashboards, reports and KPIs to monitor performance and risk.
• Identify and implement automation initiatives using AI, RPA or DLT-based solutions.
• Collaborate with Front Office, Risk, Legal, IT and Data teams on transformation initiatives.
