Job summary

RWS is seeking Legal Annotators to support AI training and evaluation for contract management platforms in Portuguese (Portugal). This is a freelance, remote, part-time position with flexible hours and an immediate start.

You will perform multilingual data-related tasks across international contracts, analyze clauses and terms, and participate in calibration sessions within secure client environments.

Qualifications

• Contract or legal domain expertise with strong interpretation and review skills.
• Fluency in English and Portuguese (Portugal) required.
• Experience with data annotation or ML QA is a plus.

What We’re Looking For:

• Legal Expertise: Contract or legal domain expertise, with strong legal interpretation and contract‑review skills (especially regarding international and cross‑jurisdictional contracts)
• Language Proficiency: Fluency in English alongside the relevant target language
• AI & Data Capabilities (Preferred): Prior data‑annotation experience or familiarity with machine learning data evaluation and quality assurance tasks
