Haworth Portugal is seeking a Production Manager to provide leadership to the local production team and drive excellence aligned with organizational goals. You will guide safety, quality, delivery, and cost performance while actively engaging in challenging projects that shape operations and teams for the future.

The role requires Lean deployment experience, 5+ years in manufacturing with 3+ years in production leadership, and strong English communication.

Qualificações

• Industrial Engineering or similar degree with an emphasis in manufacturing.
• Entrepreneurial mindset, focused on achieving results with creative solutions and development of teams and members.
• Full working knowledge of Lean Concepts with demonstrated success in deploying continuous improvement projects.
• Minimum 5-year manufacturing background experience with 3-year in production management roles.
• Knowledge of ERP systems preferably MS Dynamics or SAP and proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

Responsabilidades

• Implement work policies to maximize agility, flexibility and efficiency without compromising quality, safety or integrity.
• Identify, plan and deploy projects that support the local manufacturing strategy.
• Oversee preparation of local investment plans with management.
• Direct continuous improvement activities in line with HMS policies and targets.
• Ensure health and safety guidelines and foster a risk-aware culture.
• Develop and engage teams to improve performance and commitment.
• Resolve daily issues with a continuous improvement mindset.
• Oversee raw materials warehouse operations and ensure accurate inventory.
