Haworth Portugal in Águeda is seeking a Production Manager to lead and mentor local production teams, delivering excellence in safety, quality, delivery and cost performance.

You will drive continuous improvement projects, oversee manufacturing strategy execution, and collaborate with management to plan local investments, while sustaining a culture of safety and high team engagement across the plant.

Qualificações

• Industrial Engineering or similar degree with an emphasis in manufacturing.
• Entrepreneurial mindset, focused on achieving results with creative solutions and development of teams and members.
• Full working knowledge of Lean Concepts with demonstrated success in deploying continuous improvement projects.
• Minimum 5-year manufacturing background experience with 3-year in production management roles.
• Knowledge of ERP systems preferably MS Dynamics or SAP and proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

Responsabilidades

• Implement work policies that maximize agility, flexibility, and efficiency without compromising quality, safety, or integrity.
• Identify, plan, and deploy projects that support the local manufacturing strategy.
• Work with management to oversee the preparation of local investment plans.
• Oversee and direct the activities of continuous improvement in accordance with HMS policies and targets.
• Assure health and safety guidelines, by developing a strong culture based on risk identification and mitigation.
• Evaluate and manage opportunities to develop the teams under your responsibility, facilitating high member engagement and commitment.
• Positively solve daily issues and/or overcome obstacles, always in a perspective of continuous improvement.
• Oversee the activities of raw materials warehouse and items flow to ensure reliable and accurate inventory in the plant.
