Job summary

ATEPELI - Ateliers du Portugal is seeking an Industrialization Engineer trainer to join our northern Portugal workshops in Ponte de Lima, Penafiel, and Santa Maria da Feira. The role focuses on planning and executing new product industrialization, blending craftsmanship with innovation.

You will drive sample validation to production launch, apply standards, and help optimize processes with a culture of ownership and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Mechanical, Textile, Industrial Engineering and Management, or related field.
• Proficiency with CAD tools.
• Strong communication and organization skills.
• Fluent in English and/or Italian.
• Proactive, dynamic, and team-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Support the full journey of new product industrialization, from first sample validation to production launch.
• Ensure industrialization standards and best practices are applied with meticulous care.
• Contribute to optimizing manufacturing processes balancing cost, quality, ergonomics, and safety.
• Implement analysis and control tools to enhance quality, consistency, efficiency, and performance.
• Collaborate on continuous improvement initiatives to elevate quality and operational excellence.
• Help build a quality management system with standardized production workflow and visual management.

We are seeking an Industrialization Engineer trainer to join our team, focusing on the planning and execution of new product industrialization.

At our atelier, where manual craftsmanship meets innovation, you will play a key role in bringing new products to life. Imagine shaping the future, transforming concepts into refined, high‑end creations ready for production – each piece a testament to our savoir-faire and the passion of the artisan.

As part of our industrialization team, you will:

• Support the full journey of new product industrialization, from the first sample validation to production launch, ensuring every step is executed with masterful precision.
• Help ensure that industrialization standards and best practices are applied with the meticulous care that only true art demands.
• Contribute to optimizing manufacturing processes, balancing cost, intrinsic quality, ergonomics, and safety – a true industrial alchemy.
• Cooperate to implement analysis and control tools to enhance, quality, consistency ,efficiency and industrial performance, paving the way to perfection.
• Collaborate on continuous improvement initiatives to elevate quality and operational excellence to unprecedented levels.
• Help to build a quality management system and culture of ownership by designing standardized production workflow, including Visual management.

This position is for you:

• Hold a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Textile Engineering, Industrial Engineering and Management, Product Engineering and Development or similar fields (mandatory).
• Comfortable working with CAD tools – your digital hands for creation.
• Strong communication and organization skills – the art of collaboration.
• Fluent in English and/or Italian – to communicate our passion globally.
