Nox Health in Porto, Portugal, is seeking a Lead Software Engineer who loves balancing high-level system design with hands-on coding. In this role you will split your time 50/50 between architecture and execution.

You will mentor Scrum teams, translate PRDs into TDDs, and implement scalable microservices on AWS using Java/Kotlin, with PostgreSQL and MongoDB, contributing to life-changing sleep health solutions.

Qualificações

• Deep experience building scalable microservices with Java and/or Kotlin.
• Cloud native design and deployment of distributed systems.
• Strong working knowledge of PostgreSQL and MongoDB.
• Frontend familiarity with Angular and related tooling.
• Ability to write clear technical design documents and RFCs.
• Experience in Scrum environments and breaking down epics into tasks.

Responsabilidades

• Architect and design scalable, secure microservices on AWS.
• Collaborate with Product Management to evaluate PRDs and create TDDs.
• Write production-grade code with a focus on maintainability and quality.
• Mentor teammates through code reviews and best practices.
• Translate high-level designs into well-scoped user stories and sprint deliverables.
