Nox Health is seeking a Lead Software Engineer to balance system design with hands-on coding. You will split time 50/50 between upstream architecture and active development across Java/Kotlin, AWS, and microservices.

In this role, you’ll translate product requirements into technical designs, mentor engineers, and deliver scalable cloud-based solutions for healthcare technologies in a global team environment.

Qualificações

• Extensive experience building highly scalable microservices using Java and/or Kotlin.
• Cloud-native architectures with distributed systems.
• Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL and MongoDB databases.
• Full-stack awareness with Angular frontend experience.
• Proven ability to write clear technical design documents and RFCs.
• Experience working in a Scrum environment and breaking down architecture epics.
• Excellent communication skills to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Responsabilidades

• Architect & Design: Lead the technical design of new commercial cloud products, creating scalable, secure microservices on AWS.
• Collaborate Upstream: Partner with Product Management to evaluate PRDs, identify trade-offs, and establish concrete TDDs.
• Build & Code: Spend half time in the trenches with the Scrum team, delivering production-ready code across Java/Kotlin/Angular and mentoring peers.
• Lead the Breakdown: Translate high-level TDDs into well-scoped user stories and sprint deliverables.
• Mentor & Elevate: Raise the engineering bar through code reviews, pairing, and best-practice adoption.
