Job summary

Neuraspace is seeking a Lead Sensor Systems & Infrastructure Engineer in Coimbra, Portugal to own the full lifecycle of radar and sensing infrastructure. You will lead supplier and site selection, architecture, civil works, power and communications, and manage integration, commissioning and sustained operations of remote sensor installations.

Significant hands-on radar experience and the ability to translate hardware specs into deployed systems are essential.

Qualifications

• Significant hands-on experience with real radar systems (integration, test, deployment, operations).
• Experience taking complex hardware from specification into operation and working with suppliers.
• Space-surveillance, SSA/SDA or defence tracking-radar experience and remote-site deployment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own the full lifecycle of Neuraspace's radar and sensing infrastructure.

Neuraspace is recruiting a Lead Sensor Systems & Infrastructure Engineer in Coimbra, Portugal. Contract: full time. Degree level: unknown. Language: English. Work experience: Significant radar/RF systems experience.

The role covers own the full lifecycle of Neuraspace's radar and ground-based sensing infrastructure: lead supplier and site selection, architecture, civil works, power and communications, integration, commissioning and sustained operations of remote sensor installations, and drive upgrades from operational experience.

Requirements

• Significant hands-on experience with real radar systems (integration, test, deployment, operations; purely theoretical experience is not enough).
• Experience taking complex hardware from specification into operation and working with suppliers.
• Space-surveillance, SSA/SDA or defence tracking-radar experience and remote-site deployment are strong pluses.
