Hexa Consulting is seeking a Salesforce Developer to join the Tech Expertise & Solutions department in Lisboa. You will lead the design and development of custom applications on the Salesforce platform, providing technical leadership to teams.

The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of Salesforce development experience and strong knowledge in Apex, Visualforce, and API integrations. A permanent contract with health insurance and training access is offered.

Salesforce Developer

The position is within the IT division, in the Tech Expertise & Solutions department, working as part of the Salesforce Factory team to develop new features and support the current Salesforce ecosystem across multiple business lines.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of custom applications on the Salesforce platform;
• Architect and implement scalable Salesforce solutions aligned with business requirements;
• Provide technical leadership to cross-functional teams including developers, architects, and analysts;
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and define technical solutions;
• Develop and promote best practices for Salesforce development, integrations, and deployments;
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Salesforce applications and integrations;
• Implement integrations between Salesforce and external systems using APIs, web services, and middleware;
• Write and execute unit and integration tests;
• Create and maintain technical documentation.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience developing on the Salesforce platform;
• Strong knowledge of Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning Components;
• Experience with Salesforce integrations using APIs, web services, and middleware;
• Knowledge of Salesforce security models and data modeling concepts;
• Experience with version control systems such as Git;
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills;
• Experience leading teams and providing technical guidance;
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously;
• Available for hybrid work in Lisbon or Porto (mandatory);
• Must be based in Portugal (mandatory);

Nice to have

• Salesforce certifications such as Platform Developer II or Technical Architect;
• Experience in enterprise environments;
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and CI/CD practices;
• Experience working with large-scale Salesforce ecosystems.
