Bosch Portugal in Aveiro is seeking a Lead Development Engineer to drive hydraulic systems for residential heat pump solutions. You will deliver innovative products with strong performance while coordinating across Sweden, Germany and Portugal.

Ideal candidates have 7+ years in product development or R&D, leadership experience, and solid knowledge of hydraulics and thermodynamics. English proficiency is essential, with knowledge of German, Swedish or Portuguese appreciated.

Mansioni

• Technical responsibility for hydraulic systems and components in heat pump appliances.
• Coordinate with main technical interfaces from other teams in Sweden, Germany and Portugal, translate requirements into robust technical solutions.
• Engage with purchasing, other module teams, manufacturing, quality, and product management for seamless project execution.
• Provide technical advice and guidance and highlight potential risks.
• Drive topics with suppliers and other stakeholders.
• Document and present data for decision making with the team.
• Develop and implement new technical concepts for heat pumps and mature technologies.
• Design and specify hydraulic components, including selection based on requirements and costumer appliances.
• Develop, maintain and release product engineering deliverables and specifications (e.g., Material order spec, Development reports).
• Coordinate product market-introduction activities: product testing, certification, technical documentation, support for ramp-up.
• Promote quality awareness and continuous optimization of the product portfolio.
• Apply product-engineering and quality tools (FMEA, 8D, DRBFM).
