Metyis seeks an experienced data leader to shape the technical roadmap and build scalable data platforms for client projects. You will partner with stakeholders and coach a growing team to deliver data products, dashboards and APIs using Azure, Spark, Python, and modern cloud-native tools.

You will lead data governance, ETL/ELT pipelines at scale, drive automated testing, and collaborate with data science teams to extract actionable insights. Fluency in English required; Portuguese a plus.

Qualificações

• 5-8 years of experience in a similar role with ETL on Azure, GCP or AWS.
• Solid knowledge of data warehousing principles and concepts.
• Strong platforms knowledge: cloud setups, analytics, GitHub and CI/CD workflows.
• Experience setting up automated tests (unit/integration).
• Understanding of Lambda and Kappa architectures.
• Advanced SQL, data transformation and profiling skills.
• Experience building production ETL/ELT pipelines at scale.
• Data governance experience.
• People management experience (2+ team members).
• Experience in service consulting and stakeholder management.
• Bachelor’s Degree in a related technical discipline (Master’s a plus).

Responsabilidades

• Lead the technical roadmap of our clients in line with overall architecture roadmaps.
• Ensure architecture coherence between technical and non-technical components.
• Lead and develop digital development and operations using Python, Spark, RESTful API, and Azure.
• Steer application excellence aligning with digital frameworks and standards.
• Coach team members to deliver best-in-class products.
• Deliver data platforms and insights with data science collaboration (e.g., dashboards).
• Lead project activities and evaluate business needs with stakeholders.
