Metyis in Porto is seeking a Data Engineering Lead with 5-8 years of experience to join our global Data and Analytics team at our Digital Campus in Porto.

You will lead the technical roadmap, own architecture, and oversee the development of ETL pipelines, data platforms, and dashboards, collaborating with data scientists and stakeholders. This role supports the Hugo Boss Digital Campus initiative and requires a customer‑centric, autonomous mindset.

Qualificações

• 5–8 years of experience in a similar data engineering leadership role.
• Experience developing and deploying ETL/ELT solutions on cloud platforms (Azure, GCP or AWS).
• Strong SQL, data transformation and data profiling skills.
• Hands-on with production data pipelines and data platforms; governance awareness.
• Experience with data warehouses and modern cloud architectures (Lambda/Kappa).

Responsabilidades

• Lead the technical roadmap and architecture aligning with client needs.
• Oversee development of data pipelines, data lakes/hubs, and analytics products.
• Collaborate with data scientists and stakeholders to deliver data insights and dashboards.
• Coach and develop the product team to deliver high-quality, scalable solutions.
• Manage projects and evaluate business needs with the project team and stakeholders.
