DSV Road GmbH in Lisbon is seeking a Lead Backend Developer to architect and build scalable backend systems and distributed architectures. You will drive the development of backend services, design RESTful APIs, and guide a cross-functional Agile team through planning and delivery.

Qualificações

• Strong experience in backend development and software architecture.
• Proven experience with distributed systems, microservices, and event-driven architectures.
• Solid understanding of object-oriented programming, design patterns, and SOLID principles.
• Experience with Kafka-based applications.
• Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Strong SQL and database design skills (PostgreSQL, SQL Server, or similar).
• Experience designing REST APIs and integrating complex systems.
• Experience working in Agile environments.Leadership and mentoring experience.
• Experience with Java and/or Go is a strong advantage.
• Knowledge of Angular or React is a plus.
• Knowledge of OLTP/OLAP setups and multi-tenancy concepts

Experience with Java and Go is a strong advantage, but flexibility and a strong engineering mindset are even more important.
