OutSystems is seeking a Principal AI Engineer in Lisbon, Portugal, to shape the AI Product Development Lifecycle framework and lead multi-agent system design for enterprise software. You will mentor teams, architect scalable AI tooling, and drive secure, robust solutions across products.

You will work on cutting-edge techniques like prompt engineering, RAG, and tool calling, collaborating with global teams to accelerate product development while ensuring high quality and reliability.

Qualificações

• 4+ years of software engineering experience, including leading development teams or initiatives.
• 1+ years of dedicated AI Engineering experience (prompt engineering, agentic systems, RAG).
• Proficiency writing clean, well-tested code in Python, GoLang, or TypeScript.
• Experience designing/integrating RESTful APIs and understanding security boundaries (OAuth 2.0, token-based auth).
• Hands-on fluency with AI-native IDEs and AI CLI assistants; strong English communication.

Responsabilidades

• Architect and evolve the AI-agentic Product Development Lifecycle framework for scalable, secure solutions.
• Design and orchestrate AI agents, subagents, and skills for multi-agent systems in product development contexts.
• Develop clean, well-tested code using prompt engineering, RAG, and tool calling.
