Jobgether is seeking an Applied AI Engineer in Portugal to design and build agentic AI systems that manage context, use tools, and coordinate tasks. You will help productionize AI workflows, ensure observability, and drive innovations in coupling coding agents with specialized subagents.

You will collaborate with product and operations to identify automation opportunities and shape the long-term AI engineering strategy as an early core team member.

Qualificações

• Strong software engineering background with production deployments.
• Experience building AI or agentic systems in production.
• Understanding of reliability, latency, observability and evaluation.
• Knowledge of agent architectures, tool use and context management.
• Experience with LLM-based workflows and AI-enabled development.

Responsabilidades

• Design and implement foundations of agentic systems and tools.
• Develop reusable AI infrastructure for new workflows.
• Build evaluation frameworks to measure agent performance.
• Integrate testing, tracing, and observability into development lifecycles.
• Lead architectural decisions and establish engineering standards for AI systems.
