Job summary

The Standard, Lisbon invites a Sales & Events Intern to join during the brand-new hotel's pre-opening phase. You’ll work with the Sales & Events team to learn how luxury hospitality is introduced to the market, develop proposals, and support event planning from concept to execution.

Ideal candidates are studying Hospitality Management or Tourism, with a genuine interest in sales, events, and a global hospitality network.

Qualifications

• Be studying Hospitality Management, Tourism or a related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Support pre-opening activities for The Standard, Lisbon.
• Assist with proposals and presentations for potential clients.
• Research markets and maintain CRM database.
• Coordinate site inspections and support relationships with travel agencies and corporate accounts.
• Assist in planning meetings, corporate gatherings, private dinners and events.
• Help coordinate with Food & Beverage and Operations teams to execute events.
