AgileEngine is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer & SRE to operate and enhance a Kubernetes-based API platform across public and private clouds. You will drive automation, incident management, and onboarding for new clients, while building runbooks and tooling to improve reliability.

The role requires 4+ years in production Kubernetes, strong Linux skills, and hands-on cloud experience (Azure or AWS). Flexible work options and competitive compensation are offered.

Qualifications

• Hands-on Kubernetes operations in production for 4+ years.
• Strong Linux and CLI fundamentals.
• Experience with cloud providers (Azure or AWS).

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain the Kubernetes-based platform across public and private cloud environments.
• Work with observability tooling to ensure alerts are actionable through up-to-date runbooks and documentation.
• Manage incidents from end-to-end, including incident response, root cause analysis, and post-incident reviews.
• Onboard and support new clients onto the platform.
• Build automation and diagnostic tooling that cuts manual effort and evaluates performance.
• Identify and deliver process improvements.
• Support software and hardware upgrades and keep components up to date.
• Proactively manage capacity so the platform scales with demand.
