Job summary

AgileEngine, LLC. seeks a Site Reliability Engineer to operate and improve a Kubernetes-based API platform across public and private clouds, including automation, tooling, and incident management.

You will operate and maintain the Kubernetes platform, build runbooks, onboard new clients, and drive capacity planning. 4+ years Kubernetes production experience, strong Linux/CLI, and AWS/Azure experience are required.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of hands-on Kubernetes production experience (including service mesh).
• Strong Linux and command line fundamentals with troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with a public cloud provider, preferably AWS or Azure.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain the Kubernetes based platform across public and private cloud environments.
• Work with observability tooling to ensure alerts are actionable through up-to-date runbooks and documentation.
• Manage incidents from end-to-end, including incident response, root cause analysis, and post incident reviews.
• Onboard and support new clients onto the platform.
• Build automation and diagnostic tooling that cuts manual effort and evaluates performance.
• Identify and deliver process improvements.
• Support software and hardware upgrades and keep components up to date.
