Job summary

Inetum is seeking a Production Engineer to ensure stable, available and high-performing critical applications. You will monitor production systems, manage incidents, and drive automation to improve efficiency.

The role requires collaboration across Development, Infrastructure and Business teams, and participation in an on-call rotation for 24/7 coverage. With 3+ years in production support, you will bring strong Windows/Linux expertise, familiarity with major app servers, and scripting skills in

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in Production Support or related roles.
• Strong knowledge of Windows and Linux environments.
• Experience with application servers and web technologies (IIS, Apache, Tomcat, WebLogic, .NET or Java)

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and support production applications and infrastructure
• Manage incidents and ensure timely resolution of issues
• Perform root cause analysis and implement preventive actions
• Monitor application performance and identify improvement opportunities
• Develop and maintain automation solutions to improve operational efficiency
• Support application releases, deployments, and change activities
• Collaborate with Development, Infrastructure, and Business teams
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and operational excellence
• Participate in an on-call rotation and Follow-The-Sun support model

Profile

What We're Looking For

• 3+ years of experience in Production Support, Application Support, Infrastructure Operations or a similar role
• Strong knowledge of Windows and Linux environments
• Experience with application servers and web technologies (IIS, Apache, Tomcat, WebLogic, .NET or Java)
• Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Dynatrace, Grafana or Geneos
• Scripting experience with Python, Shell or SQL
• Knowledge of automation tools such as Ansible and Terraform
• Basic understanding of SQL Server and/or Oracle
• Knowledge of ITIL processes (Incident, Problem and Change Management)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proactive mindset and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Availability to participate in an on-call support rotation when required
