Responsibilities
Make an impact
Our global People & Organization (P&O) team holds a wealth of knowledge – but today it is scattered across locations, systems, and individual experts. In this state it cannot serve as a reliable foundation for our upcoming intelligent automation initiatives. As Service Owner P&O Knowledge, you will initiate and own Knowledge Management as a global P&O service. You define the strategy, governance, and processes that turn dispersed knowledge into a consistently managed, accessible, and trusted asset. You own the “what” – business requirements, standards, and adoption – and work hand in hand with our P&O System Experts and IT, who own the “how” of the technical implementation.
Strategy & Governance
- Define and continuously evolve the global P&O Knowledge Management strategy, framework, and operating model
- Establish governance: standards, policies, ownership, and accountability for knowledge across all P&O functions
- Define ownership models, responsibilities, and accountability across P&O functions
- Implement the full knowledge lifecycle – creation, validation, maintenance, archival, and retirement
Knowledge Architecture & Consolidation
- Design a scalable knowledge architecture: taxonomies, metadata, and classification standards that make knowledge user-centric and easily searchable
- Consolidate knowledge currently spread across multiple locations and systems into one governed structure
- Set standards for documentation quality and templates, and establish review and quality assurance processes
- Systematically capture critical knowledge during employee transitions and organizational changes, redusing redpendency on individual experts
Platform & AI Enablement
- Act as functional lead for Knowledge Management platforms: define business requirements and priorities together with P&O System Experts and IT
- Prepare the knowledge base as a trusted, structured foundation for AI-supported knowledge discovery, retrieval, and intelligent automation.
Adoption & Impact
- Drive organizational adoption: communication, change management, training, and enablement for knowledge contributors and users
- Define Knowledge Management KPIs; measure adoption, quality, and usage, and derive improvement roadmaps
