Körber Campus Porto is looking for a Product Owner IT (Master Data Governance) responsible for implementing and developing a company-wide MDG tool. You will coordinate requirements related to master data and data quality, overseeing collaboration with teams and partners.

The ideal candidate has a degree in (Business) Informatics or Data Management and experience in master data management or IT projects. The role also requires strong communication skills and fluency in English.

• Several years of professional experience in master data management or IT projects.
• Fluent in English; additional languages are an advantage.

Product Owner IT (Master Data Governance)

As a Product Owner IT (Master Data Governance), you will be responsible for driving the implementation and further development of a company-wide MDG tool. You will act as the central contact for all topics related to master data and data quality, coordinating requirements from business and IT. In this role, you will manage specifications, ensure compliance with standards and data protection, and oversee collaboration with internal teams and external partners.

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for the technical development of a company-wide Master Data Governance tool
• Lead the technical sub-project stream of the implementation program and future rollout projects
• Serve as the central point of contact for all matters related to master data management and data quality
• Gather, evaluate, and prioritize requirements from business units and IT
• Create and maintain requirement specifications, functional concepts, and decision templates
• Coordinate implementation with internal IT teams and external service providers
• Ensure compliance with company-wide standards, regulatory requirements, and data protection policies
• Conduct testing, acceptance, and training as part of implementation project and future release cycles
• Monitor and report relevant KPIs related to data quality and system usage
  
  

Qualifications & Skills

• Completed degree in (Business) Informatics, Data Management, or a comparable qualification
• Several years of professional experience in master data management, IT projects, or data governance initiatives
• Experience in requirements analysis, system design, and IT system management
• Knowledge of relevant technologies and tools (e.g., SAP, SQL, interfaces)
• Profound understanding of data structures, data quality, and enterprise-wide data flows including master data objects in SAP (MM, SD, PP, QM modules).
• Excellent communication skills, assertiveness, and a structured working style
• Fluent in English (written and spoken); additional languages are an advantage.
