Blue Fox is seeking a junior Electrical Project Manager to join a major hyperscale data centre project in Sines, Portugal. The role develops your transition from Electrical Engineering to project management with hands-on delivery and coordination of electrical packages.

You will work with experienced project leadership to manage site activities, liaise with stakeholders, and contribute to programme updates while growing toward a fully fledged Electrical Project Manager role.

Qualificações

• Background in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Construction or related discipline.
• Experience on large-scale construction, industrial, infrastructure or mission-critical projects.
• Understanding of electrical installations including power distribution, cabling and containment.
• Fluency in English and Portuguese.

Responsabilidades

• Supporting the planning, coordination and delivery of electrical installation packages.
• Managing day-to-day site activities, ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme and to the required quality standards.
• Coordinating subcontractors, site engineers, supervisors and installation teams.
• Monitoring project progress, identifying potential delays and supporting corrective actions.
• Liaising with main contractor, client representatives and other project stakeholders.
• Supporting procurement, material management and resource planning.
• Reviewing technical drawings, specifications and installation methodologies.
• Assisting with project reporting, commercial management and programme updates.
• Supporting testing, commissioning and final handover activities.

Salary: €75,000 per annum + 24 days holiday

We are recruiting a Junior Electrical Project Manager to join a specialist contractor delivering a major hyperscale data centre project in Sines, Portugal.

This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious Electrical Engineer or Project Engineer looking to transition into project management, take greater ownership of project delivery and develop their career within the rapidly growing mission-critical construction sector.

Working alongside experienced project leadership, you will gain hands‑on experience managing electrical packages, coordinating site teams and overseeing the delivery of complex electrical installations.

The Role

As Junior Electrical Project Manager, you will support the successful delivery of electrical works on a large-scale data centre development.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Supporting the planning, coordination and delivery of electrical installation packages.
• Managing day‑to‑day site activities, ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme and to the required quality standards.

About You

We are looking for an ambitious electrical professional who is ready to develop into a Project Manager.

Ideally, you will have:

• A background in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Construction or a related discipline.
• Experience working on large-scale construction, industrial, infrastructure or mission‑critical projects.
• A good understanding of electrical installations, including power distribution, cabling, containment and associated systems.
• Strong organisational, communication and problem‑solving skills.
• The ability to coordinate multiple activities and work effectively with site teams.
• Fluency in both English and Portuguese.
• A proactive attitude and a genuine ambition to progress into project management.

Previous Project Management experience is not essential. We are particularly interested in Electrical Engineers, Project Engineers and Electrical Supervisors who have demonstrated leadership potential and are ready to take the next step in their careers.
