Job summary
Promptly, a Portugal‑based health tech company, seeks a Junior Legal Counsel to support privacy, tech and compliance. The role offers remote‑first work with regular in‑person time in Porto, collaborating with engineering, data science, clinical and commercial teams.
You will handle data protection programs, contract reviews and regulatory readiness. You will join a small but senior legal team, gaining early exposure to live matters while developing governance processes and working with
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Law and relevant post‑qualification experience.
- 3+ years of legal experience in reputable firms or in‑house teams.
- Based in Porto or able to reach Porto office on short notice.
- Fluent English for contracts and negotiations.
Responsibilities
- Lead data protection and privacy initiatives across EU jurisdictions.
- Draft, review and negotiate commercial contracts and tenders.
- Support information security governance and cyber risk reviews.
- Advise on IP ownership, licensing, and trademark matters.
- Contribute to AI, digital regulation, and cross‑border compliance policies.
- Assist governance with employment, corporate, and procurement matters.
