LUZA Group is seeking a junior observability engineer to join our global team. You will assist in maintaining Elastic Stack components and support onboarding for application teams on our observability platform.

Responsibilities include configuring dashboards, logs, and alerts, handling incidents under supervision, and ensuring CI/CD alignment. A university degree and basic IT experience are required, with English at C1 level and a willingness to grow in a diverse environment.

Qualificações

• University degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a comparable technical field.
• 0-2 years of hands-on IT experience or familiarity with logging and monitoring concepts.
• Foundational knowledge of Linux/Windows OS, basic commands, files, and core metrics.
• Professional English at C1 level; French and/or Dutch a plus.
• Knowledge of Agile delivery principles and ITIL/incident management is a plus.

• Assist in maintaining, supporting, and extending Elastic Stack components (Beats, Elastic Agents, Logstash, Elasticsearch, Kibana).
• Run predefined procedures and runbooks for platform health monitoring, maintenance, and alert checks across environments.
• Support application teams during onboarding onto the observability platform.
• Assist in configuring monitoring, dashboards, log collection, and alerting.
• Participate in routine release execution and incident handling under guidance of senior team members.
• Follow coding standards, governance, and CI/CD practices.
• Document operational activities, updates, and ticket resolutions.
• Collaborate closely with team members and stakeholders.

What You'll do:

• Assist in maintaining, supporting, and extending Elastic Stack components (Beats, Elastic Agents, Logstash, Elasticsearch, Kibana);
• Execute predefined procedures and runbooks for platform health monitoring, routine maintenance, and alert checks across non-production and production environments;
• Support application teams during onboarding onto the observability platform;
• Assist in configuring basic monitoring, dashboards, log collection, and alerting;
• Participate in routine release execution and incident handling under the guidance of senior team members;
• Follow established coding standards, governance, and CI/CD practices;
• Document operational activities, updates, and ticket resolutions accurately;
• Collaborate closely with team members and communicate progress clearly within the team and with stakeholders.

Who You Are:

• University degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a comparable technical field (or equivalent initial experience);
• 0-2 years of hands-on experience or familiarity with IT environments, logging, and monitoring concepts;
• Basic understanding of Agile delivery principles and ITIL/incident management processes (is a plus);
• Foundational knowledge of Operating Systems: Linux and/or Windows basic commands, file systems, and core metrics (CPU, memory, storage);
• Professional English C1 Level (spoken and written) — mandatory; French and/or Dutch is a plus.
