Sysmatch is seeking a Junior DevOps/ELK Engineer in Lisbon for a hybrid role. You will support logging, monitoring, and observability basics while growing in a dynamic, international team.

The role requires a university degree and 0–2 years of IT experience, English C1, and a willingness to learn Docker/Kubernetes and CI/CD concepts. Sysmatch provides training, career development, and a collaborative work environment.

Qualificações

• University degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a comparable technical field.
• 0–2 years of hands-on experience or familiarity with IT environments, logging, and monitoring concepts.
• Understanding of core Observability concepts (logs, metrics, traces, golden signals).
• Basic knowledge of version control (Git) and CI/CD pipelines concepts.
• Basic understanding of Agile delivery principles and ITIL/incident management processes (is a plus).
• Foundational knowledge of Operating Systems: Linux and/or Windows basic commands, file systems, and core metrics (CPU, memory, storage).
• Professional English C1 Level (spoken and written) — mandatory.

Regime:

Hybrid in Lisboa

Required Skills:

• University degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a comparable technical field (or equivalent initial experience);
• 0-2 years of hands-on experience or familiarity with IT environments, logging, and monitoring concepts;
• Understanding of core Observability concepts (logs, metrics, traces, golden signals);
• Basic knowledge of version control (Git) and CI/CD pipelines concepts;
• Basic understanding of Agile delivery principles and ITIL/incident management processes (is a plus);
• Foundational knowledge of Operating Systems: Linux and/or Windows basic commands, file systems, and core metrics (CPU, memory, storage);

Nice to have:
