Match Profiler is looking for a Junior Cybersecurity Engineer to join our team in Lisbon on a flexible hybrid basis. The role focuses on Public Cloud Operations with AWS basics, scripting in Python, Linux familiarity, and security basics including SAML and 2FA.

Qualifications

• Up to 1 year of practical experience in Public Cloud Operations, or an equivalent academic / certification background.
• Basic AWS administration and configuration.
• Basic scripting skills (e.g. Python); exposure to infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform or OpenTofu is an advantage.
• Familiarity with Linux environments.
• Basic knowledge of cyber security tools and concepts, including SAML and 2‑factor authentication methods.
• Structured troubleshooting approach and a proactive attitude towards system and platform monitoring.
• Effective English verbal and written communication skills.

What we are looking for

• Up to 1 year of practical experience in Public Cloud Operations, or an equivalent academic / certification background
