Job summary

Match Profiler, an information systems consultancy with over 25 years in tech, is seeking a Senior Cloud Engineer. The role is hybrid, based in Almada or Aveiro, and focuses on building scalable cloud infrastructure across AWS, Azure, and GCP, while ensuring reliability and security.

You will design, deploy, and optimize large Cassandra and Elasticsearch clusters, implement IaC with Terraform, and manage containerized workloads with Docker and Kubernetes.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years in a Senior Cloud Engineer, DevOps or SRE role.
• Hands-on experience across AWS, Azure and GCP.
• Production experience with Cassandra and Elasticsearch clusters.
• Proficient with Terraform; Docker and Kubernetes proficiency.

Senior Cloud Engineer (m/f) - Hybrid (Almada or Aveiro)

What we are looking for

Hard skills

• Minimum of 3+ years of experience in a Senior Cloud Engineer, DevOps, or Site Reliability Engineering role, with a strong emphasis on cloud infrastructure and operations.
• Proven, hands-on experience designing, implementing, and managing infrastructure across multiple major cloud providers, specifically AWS, Azure, and GCP.
• Extensive experience configuring, managing, and optimizing large-scale Cassandra and Elasticsearch clusters in a production setting.
• Strong proficiency with Terraform for provisioning and managing cloud resources.
• Solid practical experience with container technologies like Docker and expertise in managing and optimizing Kubernetes clusters.
