Job summary

Next Engineering in Lisbon is hiring a Junior Banking Operations Analyst to join our hybrid team. You will support middle and back-office processes, handle data and KPIs, and collaborate with stakeholders.

The ideal candidate has a finance-related degree, 1 year in banking ops, strong Excel/PowerPoint skills, and fluency in English. Base salary ranges 920–1100 EUR with food allowance and flexible benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Management, Banking or related field.
• At least 1 year of experience in Banking and Financial Operations.
• Experience in banking, financial services or financial operations.
• Familiarity with Middle Office and/or Back Office processes.
• Knowledge of clearing operations.
• Proficient with MS Excel and PowerPoint.
• Strong English communication skills (Expert level).

• Bachelor Degree in Finance, Economics, Management, Banking or a related field
• At least 1 year of experience in in Banking and Financial Operations;
• Previous experience in banking, financial services or financial operations;
• Familiarity with Middle Office and/or Back Office processes;
• Knowledge of clearing operations and related financial processes;
• Good command of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint;
• Comfortable working with operational data, KPIs and management reporting;
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately with deadlines;
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with different stakeholders;
• Client-oriented mindset and proactive approach to handling requests and follow-ups;
• Excellent English communication skills (Expert level);
