A leading engineering firm in Porto is seeking an experienced Actuary with over 6 years in Finance or Management Control. You will be responsible for financial modeling, budgeting, and integrating accounting data to produce French GAAP P&L. The ideal candidate will possess strong analysis skills and knowledge of IFRS 17. This hybrid role offers a competitive salary of €1400–€2000 plus additional benefits. Qualificações

• 6+ years of experience in Finance/Management Control.
• Knowledge of accounting standards, including IFRS 17.
• Strong financial modeling, analysis, and budgeting skills.

Responsabilidades

• Integrate accounting data to produce French GAAP P&L.
• Prepare result projections during Budget, MTP, Updates, and Closing.
• Optimize processes and dashboards in collaboration with IT and Business Units.

Be our NEXT Actuary!

• +6 years in Finance / Management Control;
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree;
• Strong financial modeling, analysis, and budgeting skills;
• Knowledge of accounting standards and regulations, including IFRS 17;
• Insurance, tax, and accounting knowledge;
• Advanced Excel;
• VBA, SAS, Power BI, or Python skills are a plus;
• Fluent in English; operational French is a plus;
• Integrate and control accounting data to produce French GAAP P&L;
• Prepare result projections and analyses during Budget, MTP, Updates, and Closing;
• Perform comparative reviews and prepare summary reports for Executive Management and the Group;
• Optimize processes and dashboards in collaboration with IT and Business Units;
• Redesign economic dashboards for BU Heads, including IFRS 17 tracking;
• Collaborate with Accounting, Financial Steering, BU Heads, and internal clients.
