Next Engineering is seeking a Junior Controller specialized in Financial Markets to join our Lisbon team on a hybrid basis. The role focuses on P&L processes, discrepancies, and market impact analysis.

You will work with traders and finance peers to explain P&L movements, ensure accuracy, and contribute to daily reporting. Fluency in English and a Finance background are essential for success.

Qualificações

• Academic background in finance or related field.
• Experience with Financial Markets and P&L processes is required.
• Strong English communication skills (expert level).
• Ability to analyze P&L discrepancies and assess market effects.

Responsabilidades

• Analyze P&L and explain deviations within a Financial Markets context.
• Monitor market movements and P&L effects for daily reporting.
• Support stakeholders with clear, trust-based communication.

Be our NEXT Junior Controller | Financial Markets !

• Academic Background in Finance;
• At least 1 year of experience in Financial Markets;
• Knowledge of P&L / Profit & Loss processes, preferably within a Financial Markets environment;
• Understanding of Economic P&L, P&L Explain and Risk-based Market P&L;
• Ability to analyze and investigate P&L discrepancies and differences;
• Knowledge of market movements, new deals and P&L effects;
• Understanding of liquidity and interest rate effects is valued;
• Knowledge of Hedge Accounting controls is a plus;
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build trust-based relationships within a team and with stakeholders;
• Excellent English communication skills (Expert level);
