Decskill, an IT consultancy with over 10 years in the market, is expanding and seeking a Junior Application Support for a hybrid project in Porto. You will monitor critical applications, troubleshoot incidents, and work with development and infrastructure teams to ensure high availability.

Qualificações

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role.
• Proficiency in Linux and Windows environments.
• Familiarity with scripting languages (Shell, Python, and/or PowerShell).
• Experience with Oracle databases and solid understanding of SQL fundamentals.
• Hands-on experience with monitoring tools and debugging errors.
• Familiarity with Jira and Confluence.
• DevOps mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving.

We would like to meet a Junior Application Support for a project with a hybrid working model:

Responsibilities:

• Provide support for business-critical applications, ensuring high availability and performance
• Monitor systems, identify issues, and perform troubleshooting and error resolution
• Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to resolve incidents
• Execute and monitor batch processes and scheduling tools
• Maintain documentation and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives

Requirements:

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Proficiency in Linux and Windows environments
• Basic knowledge of scheduling tools such as BMC/Control-M or other batch workload systems
• Familiarity with scripting languages (Shell, Python, and/or PowerShell)
• Experience with Oracle databases and solid understanding of SQL fundamentals
• Hands-on experience with monitoring tools and debugging errors
• Basic networking knowledge
• Experience with Power BI
• Familiarity with Jira and Confluence
• DevOps mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving
