Capgemini in Lisbon is seeking a Junior AML Analyst with knowledge of Global Markets to join our hybrid team. The role focuses on reviewing alerts, conducting investigations, and ensuring AML compliance across jurisdictions.

The ideal candidate has about 1 year of experience in AML or related fields, strong Excel skills, and fluent English. You will collaborate with Operations and Compliance while contributing to process improvements and capacity planning.

Qualificações

• 1 year of experience in AML, KYC, Financial Crime Compliance, Banking Operations, or related field.
• Strong understanding of AML principles, transaction monitoring and financial crime risks.
• Knowledge of financial products and Global Markets activities.

Responsabilidades

• Review and assess transaction monitoring alerts related to money laundering risks.
• Conduct investigations on suspicious payments and perform AML due diligence reviews.
• Close false positives or escalate cases to AML Level 2 teams as needed.
• Maintain documentation and audit trails for alert reviews and resolutions.
• Liaise with Operations and Compliance to ensure AML requirements across jurisdictions.
• Escalate critical issues to management in a timely manner.
• Support process improvements and system enhancements for efficiency.
• Assist with team capacity management and delivery objectives.

YOUR ROLE

We are looking for Junior AML Analysts, with knowledge of Global Markets, to join our team in Lisbon (hybrid work).

Your main responsibilities you will:

• Review and assess transaction monitoring alerts related to potential money laundering risks within agreed deadlines.
• Conduct investigations on suspicious payments and perform AML due diligence reviews.
• Close false positive alerts or elevate cases requiring further analysis to AML Level 2 teams.
• Maintain accurate documentation and audit trails to support alert reviews and resolutions.
• Liaise with Operations and Compliance teams to ensure adherence to AML requirements across jurisdictions.
• Escalate critical issues, risks, and blockers to management in a timely manner.
• Contribute to process improvements and system enhancements to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
• Support team capacity management and operational delivery objectives.

YOUR PROFILE

• 1 year of experience in AML, KYC, Financial Crime Compliance, Banking Operations, or a related field.
• Good understanding of AML principles, transaction monitoring, and financial crime risks.
• Knowledge of financial products and Global Markets activities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel.
• Fluent English.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong analytical and investigative skills, with attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
