Amper SA in Lisbon, Portugal, is seeking a Junior AI-ML Software Developer to support the Amper IA platform. You will help integrate LLMs, develop a web-based interface, and maintain an API for code development assistance and automation.

You will work with embeddings, vector databases, and retrieval pipelines to improve AI responses, while analyzing usage and model performance to drive improvements.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Data Science, or related fields.
• 1-2 years of professional software engineering experience.
• Participation in at least one AI technology developments project.
• Experience in Generative AI, LLMs, RAG, chat tools, automation.
• Proficiency in C/C++, C#, Python; Linux/Windows familiarity.
• Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases and modern development tools.
• Native Portuguese or Spanish.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and maintain features for LLM-based chat interface of Amper IA.
• Integrate large language models with APIs and build small services and automations.
• Work with embeddings, vector databases, and retrieval pipelines for improved AI responses.
• Analyze platform usage, model performance, and user feedback.
• Contribute to AI-assisted software development features.
• Collaborate with internal users to translate needs into concrete features.
