Amper SA in Lisbon, Portugal, is seeking a Junior AI-ML Software Developer to support the Amper IA platform. You will help integrate LLMs, develop a web-based interface, and maintain an API for code development assistance and automation.

You will work with embeddings, vector databases, and retrieval pipelines to improve AI responses, while analyzing usage and model performance to drive improvements.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Data Science, or related fields.
• 1-2 years of professional software engineering experience.
• Participation in at least one AI technology developments project.
• Experience in Generative AI, LLMs, RAG, chat tools, automation.
• Proficiency in C/C++, C#, Python; Linux/Windows familiarity.
• Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases and modern development tools.
• Native Portuguese or Spanish.

We are looking for a Junior Software Developer to support the development of our corporate Generative AI solution (Amper IA), which entails integrating LLMs, programming internal web-based interface, maintaining an API for code development assistance and process automation.

Furthermore, the professional will contribute to the development of solutions that process and analyse large volumes of data, supporting GenAI and machine learning use cases and helping create innovative, intelligent products for the aeronautics, IoT and energy sectors.

What will be your main duties?

• Developing and maintaining features for LLM-based chat interface of Amper IA.
