Job summary

Junior Accountant

Salary: $1100/month (Part-time)

We are seeking a Junior Accountant to join our team in Lisbon. This is a part-time position, perfect for freshers or individuals without previous accounting experience. As a junior member of our accounting department, you will be responsible for assisting with daily financial tasks and ensuring the accuracy of financial records.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assisting with accounts payable and receivable tasks
• Preparing and processing invoices, receipts, and payments
• Reconciling bank statements and maintaining cash flow records
• Assisting with month-end close procedures and preparing financial reports
• Collaborating with other team members to ensure accurate and timely completion of tasks

Requirements:

• Degree in Accounting or related field (or currently pursuing)
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and regulations
• Proficiency in MS Office and accounting software (preferably Quickbooks)
