Genesis Digital Solutions is seeking a Mid-Level Java Backend Developer in Lisbon to design and build scalable microservices for Checkout, MyAccount, and Order Processing features. You will own features end-to-end, from architecture discussions through deployment, while guiding junior engineers and aligning with engineering standards.

You'll work on IAM integration with Keycloak and Okta (OIDC, RBAC), RESTful and GraphQL APIs with OpenAPI docs, and event-driven patterns using AWS SQS and Solace.

Qualificações

• At least 4 years of professional experience in Java backend development.
• Strong experience designing and developing Java microservices.
• Experience building and maintaining RESTful APIs and GraphQL services.
• Knowledge of OpenAPI specifications and API documentation.
• Hands-on experience with Identity and Access Management (IAM), particularly Keycloak, Okta, OIDC, RBAC, and token customization.
• Experience with event-driven architectures and messaging technologies, ideally AWS SQS and Solace.
• Familiarity with code quality and security tools such as SonarQube and Snyk.
• Experience with testing, code reviews, and deployment processes.
• Ability to take ownership of features and contribute to technical and architectural discussions.
• Good communication skills and the ability to mentor and support junior team members.

We are looking for a Mid-Level Java Backend Developer with at least 4 years of professional experience to join a team working on Checkout, MyAccount, and ODR Processing products. You will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable microservices, owning features throughout their lifecycle, and contributing to architectural decisions. You will also support and mentor junior engineers while helping ensure high engineering standards across the team.
