Wire IT is seeking a Technical Lead in Lisbon, Portugal, for a hybrid role with a senior, hands-on leader. You will drive architecture decisions, guide development teams, and collaborate across international stakeholders.

The ideal candidate has up to 15 years in software leadership, deep SDLC knowledge, and strong communication skills. Fluency in English is mandatory; GDPR-aware design and energy/utilities sector exposure are a plus.

Qualificações

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• Up to 15 years of experience in software development, architecture, or leadership.
• Proven experience as Technical Lead, Solution Lead, or similar role.
• Hands-on design/implementation of complex, business-critical solutions.
• Strong understanding of software architecture, integrations and SDLC.
• Experience managing technical debt and driving improvements.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies and JIRA/Confluence.
• GDPR familiarity and impact on design.
• Experience in Energy & Utilities is a plus.
• Excellent communication, leadership and stakeholder management; international teams.
• Fluent English is mandatory.

Role: Technical Lead

Location: Hybrid, Lisbon, Portugal

Required skills:

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Up to 15 years of experience in software development, architecture, or technical leadership roles.
• Proven experience as a Technical Lead, Solution Lead, Senior Developer, or similar role.
• Strong hands-on experience designing and implementing complex, business-critical solutions.
• Solid understanding of software architecture, application integrations, and the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
• Experience managing technical debt, driving continuous improvement, and producing technical documentation.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies and tools such as JIRA and Confluence.
• Familiarity with GDPR and its impact on application and solution design.
• Experience in the Energy & Utilities sector is a plus.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work in international teams.
• Fluent English is mandatory.
