Körber Supply Chain in Porto, Maia, Portugal is seeking a Java Software Engineer to develop software for material flow systems powering automated parcel sorting facilities. You’ll join a cross-functional team designing, developing and deploying robust applications that help global clients control and visualize their automated logistics operations.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 4+ years of professional experience, including 1+ year of hands-on Java development.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and maintain software applications that control and optimize automated parcel sorting systems and logistics hubs.
• Design, implement, deliver and support software applications for major parcel carriers.
• Optimize software for speed and scalability; implement efficient algorithms.
• Troubleshoot defects and performance issues and ensure a smooth user experience.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and embed them where appropriate.
• Contribute to improvement efforts within the development team.
