Körber is seeking a Software Developer for our Analytics Team in Portugal. You will design, build, and evolve data streaming applications powering analytics for parcel sorting, collaborating with Project Management and cross-functional teams to turn real-time operational data into actionable insights and visualizations.

You will contribute to a scalable, reliable platform using Java, Kafka Streams, Docker, and Kubernetes, while delivering dashboards in Grafana and maintaining modern data

Qualificações

• Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Electrical Engineering, or a comparable field.
• Strong programming experience in Java (production-level).
• Solid understanding of stream processing and Kafka Streams (or similar).
• Experience building and maintaining distributed data pipelines.
• Familiarity with event-driven architectures and real-time data processing.
• Working knowledge of Groovy or similar JVM scripting language.
• Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Negotiation-proof English, written and spoken; German is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Own services end-to-end: design, implementation, deployment, and operation.
• Design and improve analytics and streaming apps based on real-time data from parcel sorting systems (Kafka Streams).
• Implement data integration components to onboard additional data sources.
• Create and maintain data visualizations and dashboards (Grafana).
• Ensure scalability, reliability, and performance of streaming systems in production.
• Collaborate with Product Management to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Support integration teams using our products.
• Work in interdisciplinary teams including machine control, system architecture, and operations.
