KCS IT in Lisbon seeks an experienced Java & React developer for a hybrid role. You will contribute to backend and frontend efforts using Spring, REST APIs, and microservices across diverse client projects.

You should have 5+ years in software development, strong OO design, and cloud experience (AWS/Azure/GCP). Fluent English is required, with opportunities to work on international Benelux projects and ongoing training.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in software development with Java and React.
• Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming, design patterns, clean code and software engineering best practices.
• Spring and Spring Boot experience for backend applications.
• REST APIs design and development with Microservices architectures.
• MySQL/SQL knowledge including design and query optimization.
• Apache Kafka experience is a plus.
• Cloud platforms experience (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Good testing practices (unit/integration) and familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.
• Agile/Scrum experience and cross-functional teamwork.
• Fluent English is mandatory.

We are looking for an Amazing: Java & React (HYBRID @Lisbon)

Seniority: +5 years

The amazing you, will have:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field;
• 5+ years of experience in software development with Java and React;
• Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming principles, design patterns, clean code, and software engineering best practices;
• Solid experience with Spring and Spring Boot, developing scalable and maintainable backend applications;
• Strong experience designing and developing REST APIs and working with Microservices architectures;
• Strong experience with MySQL and relational databases, including SQL, database design, and query optimization;
• Hands-on experience with Apache Kafka and event-driven architectures will be a plus;
• Experience with Cloud platforms, preferably AWS, Azure, or GCP;
• Good understanding of software testing practices, including unit and integration testing;
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and a DevOps mindset;
• Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and experience working in collaborative, cross-functional development teams;
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and debug complex applications;
• Fluency in English is mandatory.
