act digital in Lisbon is seeking a skilled Java Developer to join an Agile team and contribute to the evolution and maintenance of backend solutions.

You will develop features for Java backend applications, analyze issues, and support Oracle database logic while mentoring junior colleagues. The role involves active participation in Scrum ceremonies and code reviews to ensure high quality, secure, and performant software.

Qualificações

• Solid experience in Java development (Core/SE).
• Strong knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
• Experience reading, adapting, and developing Oracle Stored Procedures.
• Good understanding of Java EE architecture and specifications (EJB, JMS, JPA, CDI, JAX-WS, JAX-RS).
• Hands-on experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Responsabilidades

What you'll do:

• Develop new features and enhancements for Java backend applications
• Analyze, troubleshoot, and implement fixes for identified issues
• Participate in the design and implementation of technical solutions with a high degree of autonomy
• Develop and maintain Oracle database logic
• Support junior team members through mentoring and code reviews
• Actively participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and task estimation activities
• Ensure code quality, security, and performance standards are met

Required skills:

• Solid experience in Java development (Core/SE)
• Strong knowledge of SQL and relational databases
• Experience reading, adapting, and developing Oracle Stored Procedures
• Good understanding of Java EE architecture and specifications (EJB, JMS, JPA, CDI, JAX-WS, JAX-RS)
• Hands-on experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
• Proficiency with Git and Maven
• Fluency in both Portuguese and English (written and spoken)
