Adentis Portugal is seeking a backend developer to build and maintain robust Java services in Lisbon. You will integrate applications with PostgreSQL or MongoDB, participate in Scrum events, and apply best practices for clean, testable code.

The role requires 4+ years of Java experience, SQL/NoSQL knowledge, microservices, cloud and container architectures, and a focus on performance, security, and automated testing. You will work from the office twice a week in a hybrid setup.

Qualificações

• Minimum 4 years of experience with Java.
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Familiarity with Microservices Architecture, Cloud Architecture and Container Architecture.
• Knowledge of domain-driven design, event sourcing, reactive programming, automated testing, and security.
• Experience developing Java UI applications following best practices.
• Ability to analyze and improve application performance and resource utilization.
• Development Practices & Tools: version control, IDEs, and data dashboards.
• Knowledge of DevOps quality practices and CI/CD pipelines.
• EU citizenship or Portuguese working visa; willingness to go to the office twice per week.
