Mobilunity is seeking a Team Lead Java Engineer to lead a backend engineering team building scalable, secure systems for a nonprofit platform. You will guide architectural decisions, mentor engineers, and deliver features across a microservices-based backend.

The role requires strong Java and Spring expertise, hands-on implementation, and experience with AWS in an Agile environment. The position is based in Portugal with a focus on high-growth and collaboration across international teams.

Qualificações

• 8+ years of backend engineering experience with JVM languages.
• 2+ years of leadership experience managing a team of Java backend engineers.
• Strong Java and Spring framework experience.
• Extensive experience with microservices and AWS.
• Experience building scalable, secure backend systems in Agile environments.

Responsabilidades

• Lead, support, and develop the software engineering team.
• Coordinate engineering work, manage priorities and deliverables.
• Conduct team performance reviews and mentor engineers.
• Develop features for the platform and ensure quality, security and maintainability.
• Contribute hands-on to backend systems and review code.
