WE ARE META is hiring a Java AI Enabled Engineer in Portugal for a remote role. You will work on AI-enabled systems, integrating Java-based services with large language models, and driving advanced agentic design powered by Spring AI or LangChain4j.

The role requires 7+ years of Java experience, strong Spring Boot skills, LLM integration expertise, and English proficiency at B2 level or higher. EU-friendly relocation possible for candidates based in Portugal.

Qualificações

• 7+ years of professional experience with Java.
• Professional experience with Spring Boot.
• Hands-on with Agentic system design: Spring AI or LangChain4j.
• Strong experience with LLM integrations.
• Fluency in English is mandatory (B2 Level or above).

What we’re looking for:

Important:

This position is following a remote regime, based in Portugal. Candidates should be based in Portugal and have a Portuguese or other EU citizenship, or a valid Portuguese work permit to be considered. EU candidates are welcome if open to relocate to Portugal.
