River Advice is seeking an IT System Engineer – Cloud to design, deploy, and optimize secure cloud environments based on Microsoft Azure and 365 in Porto. You will monitor performance and support hybrid architectures across on‑premises and cloud platforms.

You’ll work on security, disaster recovery, migrations, and collaboration with stakeholders to continuously improve cloud services. Fluency in English is required, German is a plus.

Qualificações

• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365 Administration, Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), Windows Server, Active Directory, PowerShell, and Microsoft Intune.
• Solid understanding of networking fundamentals, including DNS, TCP/IP, VPN, and firewalls.
• A structured, accurate, and independent way of working.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a solution-oriented mindset.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to different audiences.
• A passion for cloud technologies and continuous learning.
• Fluency in English, a good knowledge of German is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Design, deploy, and maintain cloud environments based on Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365.
• Monitor, manage, and optimize cloud resources to ensure performance, availability, and cost efficiency
• Support hybrid cloud architectures and integrations between on-premises and cloud platforms
• Implement and maintain cloud security, including Conditional Access, MFA, PIM, and Defender solutions
• Manage backup, disaster recovery, business continuity, and support compliance, risk management, and regulatory requirements
• Plan and deliver cloud migrations, upgrades, and transformation projects
• Conduct security assessments and drive remediation activities to strengthen the organization’s security posture
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure successful delivery and continuous improvement of cloud services

Your responsibilities:

• Design, deploy, and maintain cloud environments based on Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365.
• Monitor, manage, and optimize cloud resources to ensure performance, availability, and cost efficiency
• Support hybrid cloud architectures and integrations between on-premises and cloud platforms
• Implement and maintain cloud security, including Conditional Access, Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), Privileged Identity Management (PIM), and Microsoft Defender solutions
• Manage backup, disaster recovery, business continuity, and support compliance, risk management, and regulatory requirements
• Plan and deliver cloud migrations, upgrades, and transformation projects
• Conduct security assessments and drive remediation activities to strengthen the organization’s security posture
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure the successful delivery and continuous improvement of cloud services

Your profile:

• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365 Administration, Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), Windows Server, Active Directory, PowerShell, and Microsoft Intune

• Exposure to Microsoft Copilot, AI services, or other AI-powered cloud technologies
