Mystic Invest Holding, S.A. seeks an IT Operations Manager (River Fleet) to oversee the IT infrastructure across ships, ensure secure communications, and lead the support team to meet operational needs along the Douro river.

You will coordinate IT projects for new ship builds, manage budgets, and ensure high-availability services while working hands-on on vessel deployments in a field environment.

Qualificações

• Degree in Electronics, Multimedia or IT is preferred.
• Proven project management capabilities.
• Hands-on IT operations experience on ships or similar environments.
• Willing to work on river cruise ships and travel as needed.
• Strong knowledge of AV, networking, security, and communications.

Responsabilidades

• Overall management of Ship’s IT Infrastructure (Systems; Network; Communications; Security).
• Gather operational and business requirements and translate them into specs.
• Lead IT projects, write specs, review quotes, procure, and track work.
• Maintain IT systems including multimedia, AV, internet, TV, satellite connectivity, CCTV.
• Ensure safety and security standards are followed and budgets managed.
• Coordinate external contractor works and IT River Fleet budget.
• Manage New Ship Building IT scope and IT support for season operations.

• Manage, coordinate, and guarantee the operation, evolution, and continuity of IT services associated with IT River Fleet, ensuring that systems, equipments, communications, technology services, and IT fleet solutions meet Douro Azul’s operational needs.
• Act as the IT Business Partner for River Operations and lead the support team
• Manage IT projects related to the construction, preparation, and commissioning of new vessels / builds

Responsabilities:

The responsibilities of an IT Operations Manager (River Fleet) include:

• Overall management of Ship’s IT Infrastructure (Systems; Network; Communications; Security)
• Gather operational and Business Requirements, bringing project specifications to the IT team
• Lead IT projects, writing specs, reviewing quotes, procurement, following-up work execution in an organized, documented, and trackable way
• Maintenance of Ship’s IT Systems (multimedia systems, audio-visual and communications, internet, TV and satellite connectivity, CCTV systems and other equipments) ensuring an efficient operation
• Working according to the highest safety and security standards
• Active participation on building and controlling the IT River Fleet budget
• Arranging and managing external contractor works
• Manages season closing / opening IT activities
• Coordinates "Winter Season" maintenance/improvement works
• Ensures proper IT support supervising the company support team
• Manages the New Ship Building projects (IT Scope)

• In-depth knowledge of audio-visual and IT systems;
• Deep understanding IP Networking and Security;
• Ability to detect, assess and solve any issue that may arise;
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills;
• Ability to communicate with stakeholders and guests in a calm manner;
