SBM Offshore is seeking an IT Helpdesk/Support specialist to provide frontline technical assistance to end-users in a global environment. You will diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues, ensuring minimal downtime and high user satisfaction.

The role requires English proficiency and a solid foundation in IT support, including ticketing systems and remote assistance tools. On-site Porto office with potential for growth within a dynamic tech team.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or equivalent required; IT education preferred.
• CompTIA A+, MCDST or similar certifications preferred but not mandatory.
• Proficiency in English is essential for effective communication.
• Experience in IT support, hardware, software, and network troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with remote support tools and VPN is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Provide timely technical assistance to end-users via phone, email, or in person.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues to identify root causes.
• Install and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and related devices; update software.
• Create, modify, and deactivate user accounts and passwords; manage email and access permissions.
• Document tickets and procedures; provide basic IT training and remote support as needed.
