Metyis is growing and seeks an IT Support Engineer to join our global internal IT team at the Porto Digital Campus. The role focuses on user support, device management, and ensuring smooth operation of Microsoft 365, Intune, and related services in a dynamic, multinational environment.

You will troubleshoot hardware and software issues, assist with onboarding, and help advance workplace modernization and security initiatives while collaborating with internal IT teams and external partners.

Qualificações

• 2+ years of onsite IT support experience.
• Familiar with Windows 11 and macOS and device management.
• Fluent in Portuguese and proficient in English.

Responsabilidades

• Assist and guide end users on standard office applications and workplace technologies.
• Troubleshoot and resolve IT issues related to hardware, software, connectivity, and services with employees.
• Handle onboarding/offboarding, ensuring devices, accounts, and access are properly configured.
• Install, configure, and deploy Windows and macOS devices using Intune and Autopilot.
• Support and manage smartphones and tablets (iPhone, iPad, Android).
• Monitor hardware lifecycle activities including warranties, replacements, and repairs.
• Provide support for Microsoft Teams, meeting rooms, and video conferencing systems.
• Maintain IT manuals and documentation; contribute to modernization, automation, cloud, security, and AI initiatives.

What You Will Do

• Assist and guide end users on how to use standard office applications, workplace technologies, and follow IT best practices
• Troubleshoot, analyze, and resolve IT issues related to hardware, software, Microsoft 365, connectivity, and other IT services in collaboration with employees
• Handle the technical aspects of employee onboarding and offboarding, ensuring devices, accounts, applications, and access are properly configured
• Install, configure, and deploy Windows and macOS devices using Microsoft Intune and Autopilot
• Support and manage smartphones and tablets, including iPhones, iPads, and Android devices
• Monitor and manage hardware lifecycle activities, including warranties, replacements, repairs, and device refreshes
• Provide support for Microsoft Teams, meeting rooms, video conferencing systems, and other workplace technologies
• Maintain and update IT manuals, knowledge articles, and documentation for IT processes
• Contribute to workplace modernization, automation, cloud, security, and AI initiatives
• Work closely with our internal IT teams and external IT partners to ensure smooth, efficient, and consistent IT support

What You´ll Bring

• 2+ years of experience working onsite in IT Support / Workplace Support, with familiarity with IT support processes and tools
• Operational management and support of standard office hardware and applications, with familiarity with standard office hardware and applications, including:
• Windows 11 and macOS / MacBook installation and management
• Smartphones and tablets, including iPhones, iPads, and Android devices
• Microsoft 365 administration and services, including Entra ID, Exchange Online, and Intune
• Office 365 applications: Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneDrive, and SharePoint
• Microsoft Teams and other video conferencing and meeting room systems
• Basic knowledge of office networks, Wi-Fi, connectivity troubleshooting, and printing
• Familiarity with modern workplace technologies, Microsoft Cloud, Endpoint Management, and device management
• Fluent in Portuguese and proficient in English
• Excellent customer service and communication skills; energetic, positive, proactive, and enjoy helping people
• Ability to work independently, take ownership, and organize and structure your own work and tasks
• Eager to learn new technologies and keep up to date with developments, especially in Microsoft Cloud, Security, Automation, and AI
