Metyis, a global AI & Data, Digital Commerce, Marketing & Design, and Advisory services firm, is expanding its data engineering team in Porto, Portugal. You will diagnose complex data problems, process structured and unstructured data, and build scalable ETL data solutions in collaboration with data science, analytics, and product teams.

Strong Python/Scala, SQL, and cloud experience are essential, along with excellent English communication.

Qualificações

• 3 – 6 years of experience in the field of data engineering
• Education: Graduate degree or higher with courses in programming, data analytics
• Well-developed Logical Reasoning, Critical Thinking & Problem-Solving abilities
• Good programming skill in Python/scala or any scripting language
• Good knowledge of SQL is a required
• Basic knowledge and understanding of big data
• Knowledge on any one of the cloud platforms like Microsoft Azure, AWS or GCP
• Good to have GIT, CI-CD knowledge
• Strong business acumen and appreciation for business processes is desired
• Excellent written and oral communication skills in English language is a must
